Senvion will begin component deliveries to Cour Wind Farm in Argyll in early September following the completion of the access route by RJ McLeod. The access route includes a new junction at the A83 north of Clachan along with a new bridge approved by Argyll & Bute Council in conjunction with SEPA to replace the deteriorating bridge along the tracks at Ronachan.
Transportation and general haulage is being provided by McFadyens Contractors (Campbeltown) Limited; a local firm offering a wide range of high quality civil engineering services.
Senvion are transporting the components from mainland Europe to the harbour at Campbeltown where McFadyens will complete the remainder of the haulage to the wind farm.
The project remains on programme and is expected to be fully complete in 2016.
